I love Cadbury's buttons (even though I think they are meant for children) so I shall be buying some in the UK to bring back with me.

I'm not sure what goes into the Cadbury's you usually find here (though I think it is to stop it melting) but it really does alter the taste.Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00998722555113260012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6675180084311988900.post-22533389931312852592012-03-24T21:05:10.172+08:002012-03-24T21:05:10.172+08:00I am so glad that you have confirmed the chocolate...I am so glad that you have confirmed the chocolates are really from the UK. I was wondering about it myself...seemed too good to be true.

I might be making a trip to Mustafa soon ;-) just reading this post gets me tempted and cadbury never lasts in our place for long. It's gone within a day. As a kid I used to get Cadbury 'Milk Tray' as a birthday present and my fave one was the one which was in the shape of a swirl or rose.

The meltier the chocolate the better it is. I also recall loving it when chocolate melted in my hands as a kid...I think back then Singapore got the real UK chocolate which has in my adulthood been replaced by inferior ones with I figure awful transfat and palm oil (yucky).bookjunkiehttp://www.singaporeactually.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6675180084311988900.post-11012026848735134152012-03-23T10:48:40.158+08:002012-03-23T10:48:40.158+08:00They are very strict in Australia, I was warned be...They are very strict in Australia, I was warned before we went for Christmas but of course there was chocolate in one of the Christmas presents I'd taken which I hadn't even thought about! Fortunately though after declaring it and explaining it was part of a present we were able to keep it.

I shall be bringing back some more after our visit back at Easter and buttons are always a good choice! I've been craving ginger nuts too so will have to buy a couple of packets of those as well I think.Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00998722555113260012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6675180084311988900.post-18645170774717985012012-03-23T01:41:36.667+08:002012-03-23T01:41:36.667+08:00When I visited my friend in Sydney, Australia she ...When I visited my friend in Sydney, Australia she always asked me to take chocolate buttons to her. The first time I did it I got picked up by the sarcastic customs lady that told me that chocolate is dairy! I was duly apologetic and was allowed to keep it. The buttons never lasted long. You will have to pack your case full of chocolate next time you are visiting the UK.Lynnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13026281647672874105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6675180084311988900.post-7732535220323482292012-03-22T14:44:49.465+08:002012-03-22T14:44:49.465+08:00Yes I know I have the same problem with chocolate ...Yes I know I have the same problem with chocolate we bring back from the UK.
